So far, hardware specifications for the BlackBerry Classic remains unknown as at press time, although whispers on the street point to a 3.5” display, an 8MP shooter at the back (instead of the rumored 13MP camera), 2GB RAM, a 2,515mAh battery, an aluminum frame, as well as a rubberized rear panel. This happens to be an effort by the folks over at BlackBerry to help those who have a great affinity for BB7’s BlackBerry Bold hardware to finally take the plunge when it comes to the BlackBerry 10 OS, thanks to a form factor that is not too far removed from that of the BlackBerry Bold – hence its name, the BlackBerry Classic.
We will have to wait until this coming November to be able to check out the BlackBerry Classic in all of its official glory.
