While Blizzard’s World of Warcraft is a pretty old game, there are still many players who are actively playing it. In fact we can only imagine that Blizzard will most likely see a rise in subscribers once Warlords of Draenor has been released, which at the moment has been pegged for a release on the 13th of November.
That being said, with every new release comes new hardware requirements and Blizzard has since revealed the minimum and recommended hardware specs that gamers would need in order to run Warlords of Draenor properly. Given that Warlords of Draenor will introduce upgraded character models and new environments, we guess this is to be expected.
So what are the minimum hardware specs for Warlords of Draenor? Well according to Blizzard, we are looking at Windows XP/Windows Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8, or for OS X users, version 10.8 and above. An Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Phenom X3 8750 will also be required, along with 2GB of RAM, 35GB of hard disk space, and an NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT/AMD Radeon HD 4850, or an NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT for Mac users.
Now if you wanted to play the game with the recommended specs, Blizzard is suggesting an Intel Core i5 2400 or AMD FX-4100 or better, at least 4GB of RAM, and with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470, ATI Radeon HD 5870, or an NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M or ATI Radeon HD 6750M or better for OS X users. So, is your PC ready for Warlords of Draenor?
