Storage Sense Feature Could Arrive In Windows 9

storage-senseIt was earlier this week when Windows 9 build 9834 managed to find its way over to the Internet, where we managed to bring you a video of the Start menu button in action as well as a leaked screenshot. Apart from checking out the new Start menu as well as virtual desktop on a deeper level, there is yet another feature that looks set to arrive – and that would be Storage Sense.

Storage Sense first made its presence known in Windows Phone 8.1, where one was able to manage one’s internal and external (microSD memory card ) storage easily, and with Storage Sense, it is a whole lot easier to understand just what is taking up space on your device, ranging from apps to games, photos and videos. In other words, Storage Sense intends to be a total storage management solution in a single app, and it looks set to arrive alongside Windows 9 to boot.

This particular feature was first seen in several leaked screenshots from a partner build which was released to folks living in Germany. Storage Sense appeared in a list of options, and chances are it will act as a replacement for Disk Space. Hopefully, the formal and official announcement of the Windows 9 operating system will reveal more information.
