The Sony Xperia Z3 Compact was announced not too long ago. The handset is basically a slightly smaller version of the Sony Xperia Z3, although at the same time it also packs some pretty decent hardware along with a 2,600mAh battery. Now we’re sure some of you guys are wondering how well does that battery hold up?
Well according to the tests conducted by the folks at PhoneArena, it seems that the battery of the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact is holding up pretty damn well! According to the website, their test involved a custom script that replicates non-stop usage of a smartphone. It is meant to simulate what it would be like if we did not put down our smartphones the entire day.
Well according to their findings, it looks like the Xperia Z3 Compact managed to last a whopping 10 hours and 2 minutes of non-stop use! This has beaten out devices like its bigger brother the Xperia Z3, and other high-end smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S5, the HTC One M8, the LG G3, and so on.
Of course this really boils down to how you use the phone yourself. If you’re a light user you might get more life out of it. If you’re a heavy user who plays games all day then you’ll probably find yourself running out of battery a lot faster. In any case it is still pretty encouraging and if you wanted a device that is relatively affordable with a good battery life, then perhaps the Xperia Z3 Compact could be worth your consideration.
