Sol Republic Unveils Punk Portable Wireless Speakers

Sol Republic is a company known for their headphones, but if you’re not in the market for headphones and wanted a set of portable speakers instead, it looks like the company has you covered as they have recently announced the Sol Republic Punk wireless speakers which as you can see in the image above, will fit nicely in the palm of your hand.

According to the company, the Punk speakers are water, dust, and shock resistant, so if you were looking for a set of portable wireless speakers to bring with you on holiday, then perhaps these speakers could be worth your consideration. The speakers will feature an 8 hour battery life and a wireless range of 60 feet.

According to Sol Republic’s CEO and co-founder, Kevin Lee, “People want wireless speakers that are so small they can fit in the palm of your hand and you can take them anywhere. The problem has been that speakers that small aren’t very loud. That’s why we developed PUNK, which is 75% more powerful than other palm-sized wireless speakers and it’s tough enough to throw in your bag and go with you anywhere.”

It will pair with your media device via Bluetooth, but for those who’d rather not use Bluetooth, there are line-in and out ports and a 3.5mm jack that allows you to connect it with a cable.
