It looks like those who wished to see Shazam exhibit more “muscle”, so to speak, in the world of Google’s Android mobile operating system, will finally get to see their wish come true. What does Shazam offer this time around? Basically, whenever you Shazam a track on your smartphone or tablet (either way, they ought to run on the Android platform, off course), you will be able to purchase said song in a jiffy on Google Play with but a single tap.
If you would prefer to do more than just have a preview, you will be pleased to know that you can now stream more than 25 million songs using a Google Play Music All Access subscription. It does not matter if you do not happen to have a subscription just yet, you can always give things a go with a free 30-day trial of All Access before making up your mind. All that you need to do is to keep a keen eye out for the new Google Play button that is located at the top of the drop down menu in Shazam for Android.
iOS users, you might want to sit back and play the patience card, as the iOS update is said to be on its way as well. [Press Release]
