So we know that Samsung is working on a new series of handsets that will follow in the footsteps of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. So far we have heard the rumors of devices like the SM-A300, SM-A500, and now thanks a recent sighting on Indian import/export website Zauba (via SamMobile), the SM-A700 has surfaced as well.
Now the SM-A700 is one of the rumored trio of devices that Samsung is working on as part of its A-series of handsets, but this is the first time that the device has been spotted. Unfortunately the listing on Zauba does not give anything away, except for the fact that the device does exist.
However the handset has been shipped to India and is apparently there for R&D purposes by Samsung. No word on when Samsung will unveil the SM-A700 or its other two siblings, but given that it is still undergoing R&D suggests that we might have to wait a while more before it becomes official.
In the meantime there are rumors that suggests that the SM-A700 could be the high-end handset of the bunch. So far the rumors have suggested a 5-inch display and a 13MP rear-facing camera, but either way we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information and update you guys accordingly.
