Ever since Samsung launched the Galaxy Note lineup the S Pen has remained an integral part of the phablet. This company stuck to it at a time when almost everyone believed that styluses were long gone. The performance of Samsung’s Galaxy Note phablets speaks for itself and customers have found the S Pen to be quite useful. Today the company unveiled Galaxy Note 4 and also announced a new kind of S Pen that would appeal to customers who appreciate the finer things in life.
If you know your luxury brands then you would definitely be aware of what Montblanc does. Among other things this brand is famous for its writing instruments. Samsung has teamed up with Montblanc to create luxury S Pen, also described as “digital writing devices” for the Galaxy Note 4.
Montblanc is calling the new S Pen Pix and e-StarWalker. It hasn’t be revealed if they have any special technology inside apart from the black resin exterior and design that the luxury brand is known for. However the luxury S Pen do feature swappable tips that can recreate different pen nibs on the new phablet.
Apart from the S Pen, Montblanc has also created two leather folio cases for the Galaxy Note 4, one that has “soft grain” and the other that has “extreme grain.” The difference between the two hasn’t been described. No word on pricing or availability as yet.
