According to the rumor mill, Sony is apparently working on another lens style camera in the form of the QX30. Well it turns out that the QX30 might not be the only device in the works as Sony Alpha Rumors have recently managed to get their hands on a bunch of photos of the Sony QX1 E-mount.
Now for those who are a little confused by the image above, the QX1 is different from the QX10 or the QX100 which comes with fixed lenses. The QX1 will offer up similar features, such as pairing with smartphones or tablets via Bluetooth, but the difference here is that it will act as an E-mount.
What this means is that if you have an E-mount lens, you should be able to attach your E-mount lens onto it, thus giving yourself more lens choices. The QX1 will sport an APS-C sensor which Sony Alpha Rumors suspects could be the same one found in the Sony A6000. It will also come with built-in flash and is expected to be priced at 300 Euro for the mount-only, or 450 Euro with a 16-50mm lens.
We expect the full and official details to be announced at IFA 2014 later this week, so if you’d like to learn more do check back with us then for the details. In the meantime what do you guys make of the QX1? Is this a slightly more attractive option compared to the QX10 or QX100?
