A handful of new smartphones have been unveiled today at IFA 2014 but there’s a particular fanbase that’s anxiously waiting for September 9th. That’s when Apple is going to unveil the iPhone 6. Two new models with significantly larger displays are expected to be revealed this year. Apple itself has not confirmed as yet when the new iPhones will actually hit the market but some fans have already started up lining outside an Apple Retail Store in order to be first in line when that day finally comes.
It has sort of become an annual tradition really. Some rather devoted fans start lining up outside an Apple Retail Store more than a week before the actual release. But with each passing year it looks like these fans take their places earlier than ever before.
Apple hasn’t even officially announced the iPhone 6 as yet and already people have lined up outside the iconic 5th Avenue store in New York City. They certainly have a long way ahead of them as there’s almost a week to go till the actual announcement, the expected release date of the iPhone 6 is believed to be September 19th.
These fans will have the satisfaction of becoming the first people who would be able to purchase an iPhone 6 as opposed to those who would rather wait a few weeks for the frenzy to die down, or those who prefer to buy their iPhones from the online store.
