Oppo R5 Could Be Released Soon

Oppo is a name that some of us might be familiar with when it comes to extremely slim smartphones that run on the Android mobile operating system, and it seems that they have a brand new handset that is tipped to make an appearance soon. After all, the Oppo R5 has been listed to have appeared over on the Indonesian Postel website, which normally points to a very real possibility of an upcoming release.

First of all, a little bit of background explanation here – Postel happens to be the telecommunications regulator over in Indonesia, making it similar to that of the FCC over in the United States and TENAA in China. Considering the fact that Oppo had already received the nod of approval for the Oppo R5’s launch over in Indonesia, chances are, the handset will be formally announced and introduced to the masses in due time.

However, the affirmative listing did not disclose anything out of the ordinary in terms of hardware specifications, other than the R8106 model designation and presence of LTE radio. Chances are, the Oppo R5 will be the slimmest 4G smartphone as it would logically take over the 6.3mm thin Oppo R3’s (as seen above) mantle. Any takers for the upcoming Oppo R5?
