Nokia Lumia 830 Leaked Photos Shows Off Removable Battery
The Nokia Lumia 830 is an upcoming handset from Microsoft which is expected to make its debut later this week. We’ve seen a photo of the handset not too long ago and now thanks to newly leaked photos from WPDang, additional photos of the device have surfaced, which at the same time comes with “confirmation” of some of the phone’s specs.
For starters the report seems to corroborate an earlier rumor that the phone will pack a 10MP rear-facing camera. This contradicts an earlier rumor that hinted that the Lumia 830 could feature a 20MP rear-facing camera, but then again megapixels aren’t everything and if this is truly a PureView handset, we reckon a 10MP camera should be more than capable of getting the job done.
It also suggests that the phone will feature a Xenon flash and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. The photos of the device also reveal that the backplate of the Lumia 830 is removable. What this means is that there is a good chance that interchangeable backplates are one of its features, along with the addition of wireless charging.
The battery also seems to be removable so for those who like the idea of being able to swap out batteries down the road, then perhaps the Lumia 830 could be worth checking out. In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but hopefully we will find out more shortly, so do check back with us then for the details.
