I would like to think that most of us know how Motorola has a couple of upcoming handsets that are being prepared for an announcement, where one of them would be the brand new Moto G, while the other is the Moto X+1, where September 5th would be when the worldwide unveil of both smartphones will happen. Just in case you happen to have an impatient itch that does not go away and needs to be scratched, word has it that a brand new promotional video of the upcoming Moto G has already been released.
First put up by a retailer over in Brazil before it was pulled offline, the video depicts the Brazilian variant of the new Moto G. This particular model will not come with LTE connectivity unlike its predecessor just in case you were wondering, which might be seen as a step down by some, but it does have the advantage of a support for a couple of SIM cards.
Other hardware specifications of the upcoming Moto G will include a 5-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution, an 8MP shooter at the back with LED flash, front-facing stereo speakers, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, and water repellant coating. I suppose it might be able to survive the Ice Bucket Challenge then, although there are no guarantees that it will do so. Not only that, Android 4.4 KitKat will arrive right out of the box with “guaranteed updates”. Are you stoked yet?
