That being said, the folks at Droid-Life have recently come across a device at the FCC which seems to be powered by an NVIDIA Tegra chipset. The chipset in question has global roaming capabilities with LTE. The device is also accompanied by an LG-made 2,300mAh battery and according to the filing, it is a 7-inch tablet.
While we have no reason to disbelieve the filing, a 2,300mAh battery is pretty small as far as tablets are concerned. In fact there are smartphones out there who sport much larger batteries than this, so we have to wonder if this is truly a 7-inch tablet, or if we could be looking at a phablet with a whopping 7-inch display which might seem a little ridiculous.
However the filing also shows Google’s logo which seems to suggest that this could be some kind of partnership between Google, LG, and NVIDIA – a new Nexus tablet perhaps? In any case we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information regarding this mysterious device, so do check back with us later for the details.
