Moto 360 Teardown By iFixit

Motorola’s first smartwatch that was recently released, known as the Moto 360, has certainly impressed a fair number of people, us included – and hence it is not surprising to see the folks over at iFixit to grab hold of this smartwatch and open it up to see what makes up the innards of this particular device. Apparently, they discovered that there is a 300mAh battery underneath the hood, which is smaller than the purported 320mAh battery that Motorola claimed for it to arrive with. Strange, isn’t it/

iFixit claims that there is plenty of adhesive and rubber seals used in order to ensure the Moto 360 remains tied in together, which would translate to it being rather tricky to open up and repair. However, it must be noted that the digital timepiece happens to be IP67 water resistant, which should enable it to remain underwater for up to 30 minutes, so fret not about taking a bath with this on your wrist, and for those who do indulge in just a few laps from time to time, without actually bothering to go down into the bottom of the deep end, then the Moto 360 is also worth checking out.

Just remember not to rely on third party wireless charging accessories whenever you want to take advantage of its Qi wireless charging capability!
