While Assassin’s Creed Unity has been pegged for a release on the PC, we’re sure gamers are wondering if Ubisoft will be giving Assassin’s Creed Rogue the same treatment as well. Now last we heard, the game’s associate producer was quoted as saying that they will be looking into that, but now according to reports, it looks like it could be more than that.
It seems that some eagle-eyed users over at the NeoGaf forum have managed to spot listings of the game at the Brazilian Classification Board where it has been listed as available for the PC. It also briefly appeared on Ubisoft’s Uplay Reward page for the PC as well, although that one is a bit odd since the game hasn’t been released yet.
In any case assuming both sightings are accurate, it seems that Ubisoft could be further along the development of the PC version as opposed to just “looking into it”. Of course we cannot confirm this at the moment so we’ll just have to keep our eyes peeled for more information, although we’re guessing that fans of the franchise wouldn’t mind seeing both Unity and Rogue on the PC as well.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue has been designed for current-gen consoles like the Xbox 360 and the Sony PlayStation 3 in mind, unlike Unity which has been designed for the PC and next-gen consoles like the Xbox One and Sony PlayStation 4. It has been pegged for a release on the 11th of November.
