Do you remember the Mighty No. 9 game? Yes, that is the title that appeared as a Kickstarter project, where within a single day, it managed to arrive at its $900,000 funding goal, only to pass the $2 million funding mark less than a fortnight later. In fact, Mighty No. 9 also achieved a new stretch goal shortly after that. Well, now that the playable beta of the title has already launched, how does it look like or play? Check out the video above and you can draw your very own conclusions.
Basically, as long as you pledged a minimum of $80 to the Kickstarter project, you would have already received an email that contains the beta key. This beta key is redeemable on Steam, which would then allow you to play a solitary level from an early version of the game, where you will then get to check out some of the core mechanics involved in Mighty No. 9′.
Needless to say, this is not the finished article, and the developer will use any received feedback in order to shape the final release, not to mention one might see additional levels arrive on the beta in due time. Needless to say, there are two camps to Mighty No. 9 – one who cannot believe that folks would drop at least $80 for this title, while others who invested more than a Benjamin claim that they are pleased as punch. I guess it depends on which side of the divide you stand on, right?
