The company has recently updated their suite of Bing apps on the Windows Phone platform and have since taken out the Bing name and replaced it with MSN in its place. However it seems that apart from the name change, the update has not brought about any new features or improvements to the apps, so it looks like the update will just be to reflect the new branding.
This move was actually announced by Microsoft earlier this month it was only a few days ago that Microsoft updated Bing Finance and changed its name to just Money for Windows Phone, complete with the MSN branding. However we guess today’s update applies the MSN branding across the board so for those who rely on apps like Bing Travel, Bing Finance, Bing Sports, Bing Food & Drink, Bing Health & Fitness, Bing News, and Bing Weather, be prepared for a rebranding so that you won’t get confused if you’re trying to look for the app post-update.
