So far, the software giant, who also does some hardware on the side like its Surface range of tablets, has already opened up over 100 standard and specialty store locations throughout the U.S. and Canada, and this particular Fifth Avenue store will be a special one indeed.
David Porter, the corporate vice president for Microsoft’s retail stores, said, “As our first flagship store, it will serve as the centerpiece of our Microsoft Stores experience. This is a goal we’ve had since day one—we were only waiting for the right location. And now we have it.”
It is said that this Fifth Avenue store will feature an “experiential space” for customers, although additional details have yet to be revealed. Are you looking forward to picking up your next Surface tablet or copy of Windows there in the near future?
