Could LG be working on a new handset bound for Verizon? Well if the recent approval from the FCC is any indication, it looks like that is the case. A device which goes by the model number LG-VS810PP has made its way past the FCC and with the “VS” in its model number, it basically signals that the handset is bound for Verizon.
The “PP” at the end also seems to signal that the device might be making its way to Verizon’s prepaid network instead. While the name of the device has yet to be revealed, there is a good chance that this handset could be the LG L Fino. This is according to the LG-VS810PP’s UA Profile which revealed some of the handset’s specs.
According to the listing, it will feature a 4.5-inch display and a 2,150mAh battery. It is also expected to have a resolution of 480×800 and will run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, or it could be upgraded upon its release, who knows? This sounds almost like the LG L Fino except for its battery which seems to be a tad larger than what LG had advertised.
In any case with it passing through the FCC, we guess we’re just one step closer to hearing it being announced officially, so do check back with us at a later date for the details.
