Hey, if you are going to come up with your very own smartphones, why not make sure you also participate in the various hardware manufacturing processes in order to lower the eventual cost of the handset? This seems to be the case with LG of South Korea, as there are whispers going around that LG might just roll out their very own SoC in the early part of 2015, and in all probability, release it within the future LG G Pro 3, too.
Do take what you hear with a pinch of salt, since it had to go through some sort of machine translation along the way, so the message could have gotten jumbled up in the process. Word has it that the LG-F490L ODIN processor powered handset which appeared earlier this year happened to be a mere experimental device which LG used for testing, and the first handset which will boast of an in-house LG processor will be the upcoming LG G Pro 3, which would mean the LG G Pro 2 is about to get obsolete some time early next year, if all can be believed.
Hopefully the LG G Pro 3 will be tough enough not to warp or bend when placed in a pocket, and as with any other good rumor out there, all that one needs to do is sit tight and wait.
