Al nine iPhone 6 Plus that has been officially reported by Apple to have undergone a bent chassis due to being placed in one’s pocket (yes, can you believe it – 9 official cases as reported by Apple) has not exactly dampened any of the enthusiasm concerning the handset. So, is there another way to test out whether the iPhone 6 Plus is really all that malleable? Here is an interesting video that shows off how the iPhone 6 Plus fares against a BMW E60 5 Series.

iPhone lovers will most probably cringe at the idea of having a car’s tyre run over the pristine handset, especially when one takes into consideration just how expensive the phone is in the first place. The BMW E60 5 Series tips the scales at a minimum of 1 and a half tons, which would definitely be a whole lot more pressure applied compared to the first #bendgate video. While the tires do a good job of absorbing some of the pressure, with the handset placed on a completely straight floor, but it is still a heavy object that rolls over it. I would have preferred the handset to be placed to have its screen in a landscape manner rather than the portrait – you aren’t going to have it bend much, if at all. Not only that, since it is on a flat surface, don’t expect the phone to bend – cracked and scratched, sure, but bent? It would not make sense.
