apple logoIf you didn’t pre-order the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus when it went live and you were thinking about picking it up in an Apple store, you might be disappointed to learn that you might have a hard time trying to get your hands on one. This is according to a recent report from BGR who notes that their sources have informed that iPhone 6 Plus units are extremely limited.

According to BGR’s sources, it seems that while carriers and authorized Apple retailers have been receiving their supply of iPhone 6 units, only about 2-3% of those supplies are iPhone 6 Plus models. What this means is that if you had your eye on an iPhone 6 Plus, you would be hard pressed to find one in store unless you were to line up really early for it.

In fact they go on to state that 16GB iPhone 6 Plus models are pretty much nowhere to be found, hinting that Apple could be having a pretty hard time at meeting the demands of their customers. As for the iPhone 6, it seems that there should be units in stock although there is a possibility that they could quickly sell out as well.

It was recently reported that due to the overwhelming demand for the new iPhones, Foxconn has reportedly been stretched pretty thin and that pre-order estimates had quickly slipped to 3-4 weeks in a day when the phones went on pre-order. In the meantime we guess if the iPhone 6 Plus is what you’re after, you could be in for a hunt.
