While the iPhone 6 Plus ends up being noticeably bent near the buttons, making this one painful experiment, the entire ordeal would require a fair amount of effort from the handset’s owner. Of course, you are not going to sweat buckets while you are at it, but it will eventually get out of shape after a while.
The glass of the iPhone 6 Plus looks to be working just fine despite the bent handset, and even if it will not end up out of shape from normal use, it is definitely cause for concern – as you never hear of this happening back in the days of Nokia where all of their handsets were made out of plastic. Needless to say, things are very different these days, and considering how aluminum is rather malleable by itself, a handset with the iPhone 6 Plus’ footprint would also make it more susceptible to bending compared to the smaller sized iPhone 6. Perhaps this might help those who have yet to make a purchase decision between either handset to settle on an answer.
