Huawei Ascend G7 Announced With Affordable Price Tag
So Huawei recently took the wraps off their new flagship smartphone in the form of the Huawei Ascend Mate 7. It featured some pretty impressive hardware specs and more importantly, a huge 6-inch display. Now if you wanted something a little more manageable, Huawei’s got the answer for you with the recently announced Ascend G7.
Unlike the Ascend Mate 7, the Ascend G7 will feature a slightly smaller display of 5.5-inches. Unfortunately it seems that the display resolution has also been lowered to a HD display instead of Full HD, but if you’re not too fussed and you don’t think you can tell the difference, then we guess this would be negligible.
Also unlike the Ascend Mate 7, the Ascend G7 will not be powered by a processor of Huawei’s making. Instead the handset will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core chipset clocked at 1.2GHz. The handset will also be 4G LTE capable and will sport a 3,000mAh battery which thanks to Huawei’s ultra power saving mode, will apparently last users 1.2 days of heavy usage, and the ability to last 24 hours with 10% battery remaining which we will have to test ourselves.
The Ascend G7 will also come with a 13MP rear-facing camera with a 28mm lens and BSI, a 5MP front-facing camera, and is expected to be priced at an affordable 299 Euro where it will be made available later this month. So, any takers?
