htc one mini 2Earlier this year, HTC announced the HTC One mini 2 and the handset later made its way onto Verizon where it was rebranded as the HTC One Remix. The phone does not exactly have the most high-end specs but because of that, it has also been marketed as an affordable device for those shopping on a budget.

Now the good news is that if you had your eyes on the device but didn’t want to sign with Verizon, you might be pleased to learn that the HTC One mini 2 could be making its way onto the other three major carriers – AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile. This is according to a recent post by @upleaks who unfortunately did not mention when exactly will the handset arrive.

Pricing of the phone also remains unknown, but given that Verizon had priced it at $50 with a new two-year contract, there is a good chance that we could be looking at similar prices as well. Heck, it could even be free on contract given that the device is a tad old and that there are probably more worthy successors out there, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled anyway.

In the meantime as a quick recap, the HTC One mini 2 will come with a 4.5-inch 720p HD display. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and will also be accompanied by 1GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, and an Ultrapixel Duo Camera. The phone will also come with a 5MP front-facing camera and BoomSound stereo speakers.
