It seems that HTC could have a new product they are looking to launch on the 8th of October in New York City. The company has recently begun to send out invites to the event which they are calling “Double Exposure”. Now based on the image in the photo, it seems that HTC might have some kind of smartphone announcement they plan to make.
Right now most of HTC’s smartphones have already been announced, although there are rumors that HTC could be working on the HTC Desire 820x which according to the rumors, is an entry-level device and hardly worth an entire event of its own. Perhaps HTC has more phones up their sleeves that we have yet to hear about.
Then again with NVIDIA confirming the Nexus 9, perhaps the event could be about the tablet as well. However as the photo seems to suggest, it could have to do with smartphones and the term “double exposure” seems to suggest it could be photography-related as well – a selfie phone from HTC perhaps?
Unfortunately that’s pretty much all we’ve got to go on at the moment, but hopefully we will find out more ahead of the event, but either way be sure to check back with us on the 8th of October for the details. In the meantime anyone care to hazard a guess as to what the event could be about?
