The HP Slate 7 Beats Special Edition will be a modified version of the Slate HP 7 Extreme which rolled out previously, and that happens to be a tablet which was based on the NVIDIA Tegra Note 7 reference design. The asking price for the HP Slate 7 Beats Special Edition stands at $250 a pop, and underneath the 7” 1280 x 800 pixel display, you will find an NVIDIA Tegra 4 quad-core processor running proceedings, accompanied by the likes of 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory which can be further expanded using a microSD memory card.
Apart from that, it will be powered by Android 4.4 KitKat and features an NVIDIA DirectStylus pen that makes it a snap for writing or drawing. Connectivity options include 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0, and the 4,100mAh battery allows it to run for up to 9 hours before requiring a recharge.
