Google Picks Up Company Behind The Liftware
Google is a company that is not afraid to experiment, and neither are they worried about actually changing the way things work at the moment. After all, some of the best ideas in the world started off as crazy ones, don’t you think so? It looks like there is a bright future for Lift Labs and its creations after Google acquired the San Francisco-based outfit. What does Lift Labs do? Well, one of the products that they create is known as the Liftware, where it will cater for people who have Parkinson’s disease or happen to carry tremors with them wherever they go.
The Liftware is a spoon which will vibrate in order to counteract the user’s tremors, which is extremely useful since it would make life a whole lot easier when it comes to feeding oneself without having to spill a single bit of food. It remains to be seen what Google has in store for this acquisition, as the Internet search giant have come up with some rather unique ideas and inventions prior. Lift Labs’ founder Anupam Pathak has faith that his high-tech utensil’s technology could eventually snake their way into various items such as keys, make-up brushes and other handheld tools.
