The wearable was announced and while it does have its merits, safe to say that it certainly was not as how the rumors had portrayed it. According to a report from Reuters, it seems that healthcare professionals and fitness enthusiasts were left wanting more. While the Apple Watch has health features, it doesn’t really differentiate that much from the competition to make it very compelling.
However according to Reuter’s sources, you can rest assured because apparently the successor to the Apple Watch will come packed with even more sensors and features than before. It is a little early to talk about a successor, but Reuter’s sources have informed them that the company plans on announcing richer health features and additional sensors that will make its way onto future Apple Watches.
As it stands, the Apple Watch will only see a release in 2015 which means that a successor will probably arrive later in 2015 or early 2016. There are also issues with the watch at the moment, such as its battery life which is said to be far from optimal. In any case what do you guys think? Are you a little disappointed by the health features offered by the Apple Watch?
