DSLRs and mirrorless cameras are great if you like to have the flexibility of switching out lenses and buying new ones to suit the occasion. However if you just want a camera that’s portable and can snap photos without too much fuss, then perhaps the recently announced Fujifilm X100T enthusiast compact could be of interest to you.
The X100T will feature a Hybrid Viewfinder that will come with an electronic rangefinder feature and automatic brightness controls. It will also come with a fixed 23mm f/2.0 lens, which is great if you like wide-angle lenses to snap landscapes, a 16MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor, and an upgraded 3-inch LCD diplay.
According to Fujifilm, the camera will also feature an intelligent hybrid AF which will autofocus in 0.08 seconds. It will also have a fast startup time of 0.5 seconds so you can shoot in the moment, a shutter time lag of 0.01 seconds, and shootingintervals of 0.5 seconds. The camera will also be able to record Full HD video at 60fps and will also come with built-in WiFi so that it can pair with smartphones and tablets, which can also be used as remote shutters.
Now for a compact it does not come cheap and according to the company, the Fujifilm X100T will be priced at a whopping $1,299.95 and will be available starting mid-November later this year.
