Canon recently introduced a slew of new PowerShot cameras, but they are also knee deep in a different segment of the imaging business – one that involves printers, of course. Here is an interesting device from them that is known as the Canon PIXMA iP110 Wireless Mobile Printer, and we do wonder whether this particular printer will also be able to be hacked to run a game of Doom on it.
The PIXMA iP110 wireless mobile printer was specially designed for those who are always on-the-go, and this group of business professionals who most probably require a printer which is able to work as and when required. Not only that, there is an optional battery which will enable business professionals to be able to deliver high-quality text and graphics, ranging from last-minute presentations to charts and graphs – all without having to be at the office or at home.
The PIXMA iP110 will boast of the cloud-based PIXMA Printing Solutions (PPS) app, where it carries a user-friendly platform that enables easy access to the cloud straight from compatible smartphones, tablets, or other mobile devices. Apart from that, one can also print and scan images and documents straight from various online services including the likes of Facebook, Twitter, Photobucket, Dropbox, Evernote, Microsoft OneDrive and Google Drive.
It offers a 9600 x 2400 maximum color dpi, Wireless PictBridge support, and print speeds of up to nine images-per-minute (ipm) for black and 5.9 ipm for color, carrying an asking price of $249.99 a pop. [Press Release]
