We’re sure some of you guys have probably come across Bowers & Wilkins’ headphones before. What makes them a little different from the competition is that instead of a more traditional round earpiece, their headphones tend to feature more rectangular shaped earpieces instead, like those on the P5 or the P7.
Now if you were looking for a new pair of headphones, you might be interested to learn that Bowers & Wilkins has recently given the P5 an upgrade in the form of the P5 Series 2. According to the company, the P5 Series 2 will feature drivers that can be found on the higher-end P7 headphones.
The company goes on to boast how these drivers are more akin to a hi-fi system rather than drivers designed for headphones, but we guess at the end of the day it really boils down to personal preference – are you the type that prefers a more neutral tone, a more bassy tone, or do you like crystal clear treble?
Bowers & Wilkins adds that the P5 Series 2 will feature a suspended diaphragm which they claim will result in a more precise and accurate sound. The headphones will come bundled with a Made for iPhone microphone and remote, a carrying case and will be priced at $300 and will be available this month.
