The company has recently announced the BLU Win JR Windows Phone handset which the company believes will be able to provide handsets like the entry-level Nokia Lumia 530 with competition. Considering that Nokia is a more established and well-known brand, we guess BLU has their work cut out for them.
That being said, the Win JR is nothing to shout at in terms of specs. It will feature a 4-inch 480×800 display with a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset under the hood. It will be accompanied by 512MB of RAM, 4GB of onboard storage, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a VGA front-facing camera, and a 1,950mAh battery to boot.
Like we said it’s nothing too special, although the handset is priced at $89 on Amazon’s website, but oddly enough it seems that the phone is priced at $99 on Microsoft’s website and we’re not sure why. In any case it is pretty cheap so if you’re looking for a spare phone, we guess the BLU Win JR could do the trick.
