BLU Products might not necessarily be a name familiar to most of you guys, at least not in the face and might of bigger OEMs like Apple, Samsung, Nokia, and etc., although they do make phones with decent specs and decent prices to boot. That being said, if you were looking forward to a BLU Windows Phone handset, the OEM has obliged with the Win JR.
The company has recently announced the BLU Win JR Windows Phone handset which the company believes will be able to provide handsets like the entry-level Nokia Lumia 530 with competition. Considering that Nokia is a more established and well-known brand, we guess BLU has their work cut out for them.
That being said, the Win JR is nothing to shout at in terms of specs. It will feature a 4-inch 480×800 display with a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset under the hood. It will be accompanied by 512MB of RAM, 4GB of onboard storage, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a VGA front-facing camera, and a 1,950mAh battery to boot.
Like we said it’s nothing too special, although the handset is priced at $89 on Amazon’s website, but oddly enough it seems that the phone is priced at $99 on Microsoft’s website and we’re not sure why. In any case it is pretty cheap so if you’re looking for a spare phone, we guess the BLU Win JR could do the trick.
