The folks at BlackBerryOS have also taken it upon themselves to call a handful of local Verizon stores to ask if they had the device in stock. Instead they were told that they were not able to place anymore orders for the BlackBerry Z30 and that they were only able to provide warranty replacements.
Before you start getting worried for your BlackBerry Z30 and its updates, it could be that Verizon is no longer selling the device, but it does not mean that it has reached its EOL (end of life) yet, so it is possible that the carrier could continue supporting the handset in terms of updates and bug fixes.
We’re not sure if Verizon’s decision to possibly discontinue the sales of the BlackBerry Z30 is because they have another BlackBerry handset they plan to replace it with, but either way we’ll keep our eyes peeled for hopefully an official confirmation from the carrier.
