That being said, based on photos of the handset it seems that the phone will arrive in two colors – black and white, but if you were hoping for more options, you could be in luck. According to the folks at N4BB, they have heard from their sources that the BlackBerry Passport could come in two additional finishes – Premium and Gold.
Unlike the standard edition which features a plastic backplate, the Premium version is said to offer up a textured back that could either be leather or a glass weave. As for the Gold version, we’re not sure if they meant a gold color finish, or if it will be coated in actual gold which we have seen done to smartphones in the past.
Either way we guess we’ll just have to wait until the 24th of September to find out more, but in the meantime who else is excited to get their hands on the BlackBerry Passport? Could this be the device that could rekindle the waning interest in the Canadian company?
