Bing Finance To Be Called ‘Money’ For Windows Phone Soon

While it is said that a rose by any other name would smell just as sweet, this does not mean that a name change does not do any good at all. There are moments when a change in the name is just the boost that a product needs in order to do better, and we have word that Bing Finance could soon be known as ‘Money’ for Windows Phone, complete with MSN branding.

It was not too long ago that Microsoft emphasized on how the existing range of Bing apps, including the likes of Weather, News, Finance, Travel and Health + Fitness, will soon adopt MSN as the main brand. Bing has already been phased out from the apps in previous updates earlier this April, and it seems as though these changes intend to isolate Bing search from the rest of Microsoft’s news and information offerings.

Well, there has been reports of the Finance app showing off an in-app message which points to the very real possibility of the name Bing Finance being in its last days, as the new app will instead be known as MSN Money. I am not too hot and bothered about this, as long as the app itself is able to perform well – and then some.
