A couple of years ago, Beamdog announced that they would be reviving the old school RPG Baldur’s Gate. They would be giving the game a slight update in the graphics department as well as adding new missions, characters, items, and so on. The game was released on both the iPad and PC. This made sense as both platforms tend to have large-ish displays which you could play the game on.
Well if you thought that playing the game on your smartphone was a good idea, you might be interested to learn that in the recent update to the game, it seems that there has been support added for the iPhone. This means that gamers who don’t mind playing it on their phones will now have the option to do so.
However given that Apple has recently announced the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, both of which have larger displays, perhaps the experience might not be as bad as you think. The update will also bring about some changes in the form of font size customization as well as several bug fixes.
While there are some who have commended Beamdog for their efforts, there have also been some negative reviews about the game. The game is currently priced at $9.99 and if you’d like to check it out, you can do so by heading on over to the iTunes App Store for the details and for the download.
