ASUS is a computer manufacturer that does deliver a slew of notebooks for everyone – fitting just about all budgets, ranging from the entry level to the mid range and going all the way to the high end segment of the Ultrabook market. This time around, ASUS has decided to endow the business segment with their latest business-class portable notebook known as the AsusPro BU201. This particular notebook will arrive with a 12.5” display, powered by an Intel Core i5 or faster CPU, as well as sport the relevant enterprise features which will include support for a desktop docking station as well as a durable case design.
Not only that, there is also a pointing stick located right smack in the center of the keyboard, making one think back of the classic IBM ThinkPad designs in the days gone by, which will come in handy as it works alongside a standard notebook touchpad.
The 12.5” display features a resolution count of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, and you will see the AsusPro BU201 carry up to 12GB RAM, a 2.5” drive bay, up to 1TB of hard drive storage or 500GB of storage alongside 8GB of solid state storage. Sporting a trio of USB 3.0 ports to keep up with the times, it will also feature an Ethernet jack, a VGA port, a mini DisplayPort, a Smart Card Reader, an SD memory card reader, and a micro SIM card slot. Pricing details remain to be determined.
