First announced
in February earlier this year, Rovio has kept to their promise of rolling out Angry Birds Stella on September 4th, and you will now be able to join Stella alongside her friends who go by the names Willow, Dahlia, Poppy, and Luca. The whole premise of the game would fall back on a quest that sees you help in the journey to reclaim Stella’s scrapbook as well as prevent power-hungry Gale from destroying the Golden Island with her obsessive hunt for the mysterious Golden Egg.
The early days of the slingshot gameplay that shot (pardon the pun) Angry Birds to prominence a few years ago are gone, as there will be a slew of new twists introduced to this gaming genre. In fact, with an all-new set of characters to choose from, not to mention them having a slew of impressive superpowers, in addition to a beautiful new setting on Golden Island, and a scrapbook where players are able to gather their achievements and unlock variations of the characters, one would be in for hours of non-stop entertainment, keeping children glued to mobile screens everywhere while adults carry out their chores and tasks.
Do expect to experience Angry Birds Stella across a variety of settings, including games, animations, books, comics, and a broad range of consumer products. Heck, Angry Birds Stella will even boast of its own lineup of Hasbro’s Telepods figures, now how about that for commercialization? Angry Birds Stella can be downloaded for free on Apple’s App Store, Google Play, Amazon Appstore, BlackBerry World and NOOK Apps.
