Now that the dust has settled with the new iPhone 6 as well as Galaxy Note 4 releases out of the way, it is time to start trumpeting the virtues of the individual devices mentioned by the different camps out there. Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note Edge, which were announced at the recently concluded IFA 2014 in Berlin, Germany, are shaping up to look really good, but South Korean analysts reportedly aren’t too optimistic that the Galaxy Note 4 will outdo the Galaxy Note 3 in terms of success.
According to Yonhap News, an analyst from Hyundai Securities did mention that Samsung is tipped to ship approximately 11 million Galaxy Note 4 units before 2014 comes to a close, which is similar to the number of Galaxy Note 3 units that were shipped in 2013.
Not only that, the Hyundai Securities analyst also mentioned that Samsung will ship a mere 1 million Galaxy Note Edge units before 2014 is over, simply because the handset’s “manufacturing process is expected to be complicated.” Yet another analyst from Dongbu Securities touted that users could find the learning curve when it comes to adapting to the Note Edge rather steep, especially with its display that might take some getting used to.
