Hmmm, is it me, or is Apple starting to look at two different models for each upcoming hardware release? After all, it is more or less confirmed that Apple will roll out a next generation iPhone 6 in two different screen sizes – 4.7” and 5.5”, and here we are with KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo having mentioned that the rumored iWatch will boast of two different sizes that will target different genders, which will feature 1.3” and 1.5” form factors.
Is there something that we can refer to in order to have a better idea on how the rumored iWatch will look like when it arrives? Well, the Pebble smartwatch happens to sport a 1.26” display, which would give us a clearer grasp on how the 1.3” iWatch would look like in terms of size. Of course, do take what you have heard from Kuo with a grain of salt, despite the fact that he happens to be well connected to different supply chain sources, but until something official from Apple is announced, it would be best to cast a skeptical glance. Other hardware specifications point to 512MB RAM and 8GB of internal memory.
Do you think that Apple’s strategy to deliver a smartwatch in two different sizes is going to work big time, or will it confuse customers instead?
