It does not look as though Apple’s iOS 8 roll out has been all that smooth, and some might have attributed this to the human factor behind the entire team, while others could think that this is just one of the growing pains which comes with the territory of a brand new operating system update. Regardless of which school of thought you hail from, iOS 8’s release has had its fair share of issues. In fact, after a re-release of iOS 8 was issued in the form of iOS 8.0.2, it seems that there is security issue which continues to plague the Touch ID and Passcode security features.

This particular security flaw rears its ugly head whenever an iPhone that runs on either build of iOS 8 or iOS 8.0.2, is plugged into a computer or an outlet. The “Allow Hey Siri” setting will need to be activated first, and with this, anyone is able to gain access to one’s iPhone without much difficulty at all.

Do bear in mind that this particular security flaw is not a 100% surefire manner to access the iPhone, but with the possibility of it happening, it is always something to be aware of. Not only that, the potential pitfalls of such an opening could actually strike fear in some iPhone users, especially for those who happen to use the iPhone at work.
