Earlier this year, the folks over at Microsoft did introduce an Xbox One bundle that came with Titanfall. The reason behind such a release was to have the game itself showcase the capabilities of the console, with fingers crossed that it would eventually end up as a killer app for the latest generation console from Microsoft. This proved to be a winning combination, since much hype had already surrounded Titanfall even before the game was released, and arriving in a bundle meant that one would also be able to save more money in the long run, which is a good thing, too.
Well, it seems that Microsoft has once again put their foot down on selling the Xbox One without Kinect, as part of their campaign to sell the Xbox One on a price that is on par with the Sony PS4, its main rival. Question marks then arose as to whether the Xbox One Titanfall bundle will continue to be sold since it arrived with the Kinect. Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, has tweeted the verdict that the “Titanfall bundle is done.”
There you have it, but try not to fret too much since there will be the upcoming Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Bundle, as well as the Special Edition Sunset Overdrive Bundle. Sure, neither one will arrive with a Kinect, but at least it is a bundle that offers some value for money.
