The folks at MacRumors have noted that the Moscone Center has been reserved for a “corporate event” for the 8th of June to the 12th of June. What makes this particular event so special? Well based on the past, Apple has typically booked the Moscone Center for their WWDC events and have reserved it under “corporate event”.
It turns that out that for the most part, the corporate event is actually a placeholder for WWDC, so based on this trend, it has been assumed that this booking for 2015 could be for WWDC. Naturally it is entirely possible that it could be used by someone else for a corporate event of their own, but with Apple favoring June for WWDC, you can see why the speculation is what it is.
Now considering that Apple is usually more software focused for WWDC, chances are we could be hearing about iOS 9 and OS X 10.11 which would be Yosemite’s successor, or whatever Apple plans on naming then. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but what do you guys think? Is this a bit reaching?
