Her sources tell her that the release could be around January or February 2015, which is significantly later than the desktop preview of Threshold which has been rumored for a release next month. The ARM-based version of Threshold will be aimed at smartphones and tablets running ARM processors.
It should be interesting to see how Microsoft plans to make it work on both smartphones and computers, although it has been suggested that ARM version of Threshold will be doing away with the desktop UI completely, which we guess makes sense since it will most likely end up being in smartphones and tablets with smaller displays.
In any case take it with a grain of salt for now Microsoft has been rumored to hold an event on the 30th of September next month, so do check back with us then to see if Microsoft might have any additional details to share with us!
