Verizon Motorola Luge Is Rebranded DROID RAZR M

Word on the street had it that Verizon was working on the Motorola Luge, where this particular smartphone would continue to remain ahead of the curve by sporting LTE connectivity, while having its crosshairs targeted at Verizon’s range of prepaid customers. Well, it seems that a Verizon display card image for this particular device has been revealed, and for those who were licking your lips in anticipation of something new, you might be disappointed to see that the Motorola Luge is nothing more than a DROID RAZR M that has gone through a rebranding exercise.

As for the DROID RAZR M, which so happens to be a smartphone that was rolled out close to two years back, it is more or less what the Motorola Luge looks like, a device that is being prepared so that it can roll out later this coming 28th of August. While the software itself is closer to stock, everything else about the hardware more or less remains the same, including a 4.3” qHD display at 540 x 960 resolution, a Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 1.5GHz processor, 1GB RAM, an 8MP shooter at the back, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC connectivity; and a 2,000mAh non-removable battery.

The Luge does go one better on the DROID RAZR M with a 0.9MP front-facing camera though, so go figure.
