Here is yet another upcoming tablet that might just keep you interested for a little while longer, if getting the latest models are your cup of tea. This one, however, will not hail from the more famous brand names out there, but rather, it is Toshiba of Japan with their brand new 10” Android-powered tablet that has appeared on the WiFi Alliance website.
Details on this particular Toshiba AT10-B remains rather scarce as at press time, but we do know that the Wi-Fi certification documents point to the tablet running on Android 4.4 KitKat as the mobile operating system of choice, as well as boasting of dual-band 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi support.
This will most likely be the sequel to the Toshiba AT10-A that was revealed previously, so hopefully, it will be able to arrive with better features and specifications in order to keep up with the times. It remains to be seen, however, whether Toshiba will roll out additional premium products like the Excite Pro and Excite Write tablets that sported speedy Tegra 4 processors, a high resolution 2,560 x 1,660 pixel display, and an optional digital pen.
Would you prefer to pick up a tablet that carries an established brand name, or are you all right with a player that watches from the sidelines most of the time?
