That being said for those who might our earlier report, the EX-FR10 is an unusual camera in terms of its design. It features a lens at the top part of the camera, and at the bottom it sports an LCD display that can be detached and also used as a remote shutter. In some ways we have to admit it’s pretty clever, but here’s hoping you don’t misplace either component!
The EX-FR10 will sport a 14MP 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor with a 21mm f/2.8 lens. The LCD display will measure 2-inches and images/videos recorded on the camera will be stored to microSD. It will also feature WiFi connectivity so that users will be able to transfer photos wirelessly to other devices.
The camera will be priced at 50,000 yen and for now it seems that it could be limited to the Japanese market, but either way we’ll keep our eyes peeled to see if an international release could be in the works.
